Things That Just Feel Like Fall in Richmond

Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of summer, so if you’re looking for one more excuse to get out and enjoy it, Richmond and the surrounding area have plenty going on.

From wine and oysters to live jazz, horse racing, and the Chesterfield County Fair, here are a few things to check out over the holiday weekend.

Wine & Oyster Field Day at James River Cellars

James River Cellars Winery

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for an easy afternoon with friends and family. Food trucks will include Greggorys Grill, El Guapo, and King of Pops, along with local vendors and live music throughout the afternoon.

It’s the kind of Labor Day weekend event where you can show up without much of a plan and stay for a few hours.
